Meet the founders

Sean Forney

Sean Forney

Sean grew up in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, and built his career in the insurance industry from the ground up. After earning degrees from Hagerstown Community College, West Virginia University, and Western Governors University, he entered the insurance business and has spent more than 20 years working in commercial lines.

Over the course of his career, Sean worked in multiple roles, including positions with two of the largest publicly traded insurance brokerages in the country. He handled complex accounts, layered placements, and high-responsibility renewals, gaining firsthand insight into how commercial insurance really operates behind the scenes.

But no matter the size of the agency, one thing never changed: the work was still manual.

Renewal preparation meant flipping through dozens of pages. Proposal comparisons meant side-by-side PDFs. Submission preparation meant re-entering information that already existed.

Sean knew there had to be a better way.

When advances in AI began accelerating, he saw an opportunity, not to replace agents, but to strengthen their workflow. He believed technology could bring structure and clarity to policy data while keeping agents firmly in control.

That belief led him to partner with co-founder Daniel to build a modern policy intelligence platform designed by an insurance agent, for insurance agents.

While not working, Sean enjoys spending time with his wife and four children on their farm in West Virginia, a place that keeps him grounded and reminds him why building something meaningful matters.

Dan Boyce

Dan Boyce

Dan built his career in technology and analytics after developing an early passion for how software and data can be used to solve real business problems. Based in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, he brings more than 25 years of hands on experience in software development, database engineering, and advanced analytics. His work has supported organizations across fintech, SaaS, supply chain, and health technology, giving him broad insight into how data driven systems can influence growth and operational success.

Over the course of his career, Dan has held both technical and executive leadership roles focused on turning complex information into practical strategy. He has designed predictive analytics models, led cross functional development teams, and built scalable platforms used by organizations to improve performance and decision making. His background includes launching successful SaaS products and mobile applications, as well as developing automation and reporting solutions that help businesses move faster with greater confidence.

Whether working inside large enterprise environments or fast moving startups, Dan consistently saw the same challenge. Companies were collecting more data than ever before, yet translating that information into clear action remained difficult.

Marketing initiatives often depended on delayed or fragmented reporting. Product teams lacked real time visibility into customer behavior. Operational improvements were slowed by manual processes and disconnected systems.

These experiences shaped his belief that intelligent technology should simplify complexity rather than add to it.

As AI began to rapidly transform the software landscape, Dan recognized an opportunity to help organizations rethink how they approach analytics and automation. He went on to establish his consulting firm, AI Analytics, where he partners with companies to design modern data strategies, build intelligent applications, and unlock new sources of revenue and efficiency. His practical approach and deep technical expertise have earned the trust of many long term clients.

Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and taking full advantage of the outdoor lifestyle that comes with living in West Virginia. He has a strong interest in boating and motorsports, and he enjoys getting outside whenever possible to relax, recharge, and stay active. Balancing family life with building technology focused businesses helps keep his priorities clear and reinforces his commitment to creating solutions that deliver real, lasting value.
